The head of our country’s government is in the early stages of consolidating total power. We must of course reject this, but that is not enough. We have to respond by creating a different and better kind of American politics than we have seen before.

All I have to see is "Texas Leaders Applaud" in a headline to know that I'm emotionally disturbed by an action.

Got a weekly update from my rep (R), who said his vote (yes, obviously) ensured security of Medicaid, Medicare, WIC, and supports Veterans. Am I high? Am I missing a point? I try to seek news from all angles. Help!

The mental toll in simply calling a parent who has dementia is hard to describe. You don't know what the interaction will be like, and no matter what end with a sense of horrific dread. It's heartbreaking, even when good.

Potentially hot take. Welcome feedback to shift my thinking.
I'm SICK of us subsidizing/bailing out auto, airlines, oil & gas, etc.

The rest of us have to run profitable businesses on our own or fail. They should also have to figure their shit out or fail.

Earlier today, my (grown) son cancelled HBO, the account I access to watch White Lotus. Current conversation:

Him: How do you make your spaghetti squash?
Me: How do you reactivate HBO?
Him: How long do you microwave it to soften?
Me: How long does it take to get HBO showing up on my TV?

I didn't think I was capable of feeling any more shame for what America has become.

I was wrong.

Oh, we don't know how to.' I don't know how anyone can look at this administration & feel a semblance of confidence"

Anyone else have whiplash, struggling to make sense of current state of this insanity given how quickly things are changing? I mean, headlines seem to be out of date if they're more than 1 hour old. Wild to get off work, look and try to find the latest.

The Gulf of Mexico is a real thing, any fake names determined by a delusional man who does not have the power will be ignored by me. Anyone supporting this idiocracy will be deleted by me. Now help, can i delete Google maps, what's my alternative. I don't care if it sucks.

First meeting of the day, at 7:30 am with a client outside of the US started with them saying, "So, I watched the inauguration yesterday..." And then none of our team having watched the inauguration to preserve their mental health.

Trying to decide if the Tok is added to my do-not list, the apps owned by the evil ones, or going with it cause they played him for the fool he is.
