I feel like the NYTimes might be writing with a particular audience in mind. Maybe it's just me, but the author's bio reads as an apologia for the bad-faith takes conservatives had about CRT and campus censorship.

We are entering an era where someone might use a large language model to generate a document out of a bulleted list, and send it to a person who will use a large language model to condense that document into a bulleted list. Can anyone seriously argue this is an improvement?
