Probably good to know at least the first thing about the universe before you play an RPG...

Sorry, meant to use a higher-res version of the Star Wars: Zero Company splash art.

Btw, Zero Company is an upcoming, turn-based tactics game set during the end of the Clone Wars due out in 2026.

Trailer is cool: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcxn...

Okay, I know Star Wars: Zero Company takes place in late Clone Wars but LOOK AT THIS ART and tell me they couldn't make an AMAZING turn-based tactics game with Cassian Andor set in the early Galactic Civil War period?! Its basically already there. EA - I have a perfect DLC for you!

Found this Fallout Victory soda for the 4th at Grocery Outlet. Pretty good.

Nothing bad happens during a cookout in Los Angeles in the show right?

I’m at the level of adulting where we now have a puzzle mat.

I must also admit that I had to do a test roll on a lower stakes puzzle to assuage my anxiety that the product might not work.

It does work, btw.

I recommend Chains of Freedom. (19.6 hours)

A fun XCOM-style TBRPG with a dystopian/monster backdrop. The game has surprisingly deep combat and build attribute system with minor exploration, crafting and resource management.

Story, writing and visuals are serviceable.
$20: Totally worth it.

A marketing campaign I did 13 years ago. In 2011, at HotelTonight, we had a minor campaign about taking a cross-country road trip and using HT to blaze the trail.

Y'all. When HotelTonight started. People were NOT cool with traveling without having a hotel already booked. Today, the dream is real.

I would have donated anyway but I’ll take free cat photos always.

Y'all, South of Midnight is excellent!

Its a bit slow to start but once, its hits its stride - I couldn't stop playing. Its fun, excellent craftmanship (and insanely creative).

But, for me - the game really unlocks if you play it with a controller!

I again offer direct proof that NZXT cases can support up to 10lbs of cat.

One more.

Discovering that you need to add animated gifs as video for them to play.

I am not going to make a Ghibli version of myself but I will say that this trend has really highlighted to me how thoughtful and delightful Studio Ghibli's style really is.

Absolutely, nothing can beat real Ghibli especially in motion. There is so much subtle life and heart in their craft.

Y'all, it is insane to me what a massive QoL difference it makes in the Suikoden 1 &2 remaster that you can run in 8 directions now.

Many of the areas/dungeons have diagonal visual art but you used to have to do this zig-zag thing. Now it feels natural and the new sprite fits perfectly.

At NZXT, many of us have cats which is why our cases are tempered glass and steel - they can support any cat size on top.

The trick is for the power button to be flat enough requiring just enough pressure.

Also putting it on the front like our H6 Flow creates different cat problems…

Did I mention that nearly EVERYTHING in this game is painstakingly animated!

The only negative is that the full game isn't out yet!

If you would like to take a break from doom scrolling.

Please take a look at this peaceful, delightful game called Lost and Found Co from my friends at Bit Egg Inc.

Its basically an insanely delightful Where's Waldo game.

You can Wishlist on Steam and play the demo for free!

My grandpa lived in Florida on a farm and used to send people boxes of oranges and grapefruit. I thought it was just a personality quirk.

I get it now.

The attached images are not a before/after. That is my lemon and lime tree right now - after the giant pile…

Christmas came early! I just got the first set of paperbacks for my new book, Untethered that comes out in January!

It’s weird and deeply satisfying to hold three years worth of work physically in my hand.

Made Japchae for the first time. Delicious. Although I understand now why it’s considered a labor of love.
