"Nobody" is a pretty broad assumption also. It depended on what sources you were looking at.

I think I'm more concerned that you were a 7 year old on social media with teen parents?

But anyway, happy to discuss in more detail, I've run socials for a dept of public health agency during the pandemic & have a pending publication around public sector social media use.

I think that's a broad generalization of seniors and not super accurate. Older Americans tend to lean more conservative without social media, so again, I don't think old age is the distinguishing demographic.

Senior loneliness is a major issue and social media plays some part in alleviating it. It's also common for immigrants keeping in touch with family abroad, and I don't think it'd be fair to restrict on an upper age limit.

Seems like the priority should instead fall on the social media companies

I think this has to do with demographics outside of age. 60 isn't that old. Plenty of 60 year olds are my super capable coworkers and processors.

Over 60 feels overly cautious. Over 80 maybe.
