Uh reading that.. I'm confused and wondering how it allegedly did that to his arm when it supposedly didn't get through the entire windshield and didn't even cause a depressurisation event.

Hopefully not foreshadowing. Idk if him having no hair would work.

How many untill it forces a removal? Or is the petition pointless.

Clearly wanted to go pants-free.

Tbh if my pants were that crusty, I'd take them off too.

For those kids, it holds a special place in their heart so deep it's hard for them to separate from it. And I'm sure if they could support the art without the artist they would. But either way they see the art before the artist. It helped them through dark times, and to them it deserves everything.

Also, people forget that a lot of kids, like silvervale grew up on Harry potter. It may have even helped some downtrodden kids with its escapism - how many kids wished they'd get that letter and be spirited off to a magical world? For them, it let them imagine. And may have even given hope.

Honestly I believe the art doesn't make the artist. Harry potter was about love triumphing over hate. An ironic juxtaposition of the creator and work. The worst people often create the greatest works of art. You don't have to support it. But do not attack those who do. Love the art. Not the artist.

Yeah, they wished they had a tower with their name plastered on it. Too much money spent on crap they shouldn't have been.

Yeah, you don't really need it if you have the G920, but the G29 needs a little extra help to bring it up to par

And here we have... A fool who is on no side but his own. He'll lick a boot he thinks it will benefits him, and he'll shoot a baby if he thinks it will benefit him.

Does it actually benefit? Who cares, as long as he thinks it does.

Sim racing is actually quite well supported in Linux.

I wish flight Sim controllers were better supported.

I wish there was a linux Configurator and firmware updater for my VKB stick or support for some of the many flight yokes that exist.

I had to initialise my stick defaults in a windows VM

Because of the standard way FFB is used and accessed in Linux is in kernelland, so most games use it in that way.

If we changed it now we'd have to update a large number of games and stuff. Lost of which just access the FFB through proton/wine. Honestly it'd just make things worse at this point.

Yep, I have a G29 (the PS3/4 version of the G920)

It works OOTB, with the exception of built in force feedback

These drivers are essential if you want good support for these wheels: github.com/berarma/new-...

I believe it brings force feedback support up a level above the support in windows.
