I had 10 days to submit objections to a 3000 page planning application that wasn't in my first language. Notebook LM allowed me to read it without reading it.

Any Spaniard will confirm that it's true, but things are much better in recent years as more services are available online. The number of interactions with the bureaucracy needed in Spain is multiples of what is needed in the UK. Fluency helps but certainly doesn't guarantee a pleasant experience.
