De novo metastatic breast cancer 2023. Still yearn for my horse riding cycling self but found a new normal in this chaos. Hispanophile. #cansky #oncosky

Anyone who knew before, will know I used to love cycling. Because of my fragile bones I no longer do it. My goodness I miss it. Still can’t bear to part with my beautiful bike.

Was pleased to find they still made this. Great for cakes.

Does my nose look big in this? Lottie doesn’t normally wear clothes but she was modelling a new creation.

My beautiful dogs never left my side in the 4 months I was awaiting what I knew wouldn’t be a good diagnosis. They knew I was hurting.

A picture of Lottie and Lenny for you. What breeding do you think Lenny the yellow one has?

What do I do when a bit fed up? Buy wool of course to make more things nobody wants.

Much pawing of the ground & rolling in the snow this morning from the horses. Honestly you’d think snow was a new phenomenon.

My lovely bike. One day we’ll move & I’ll ride it again.

My beautiful collies, almost a lifetime ago

Got back home to a cup of tea and of course Lenny the dog (other beings were present too). He’d clearly missed me and laid his quite sizeable body on mine, digging his elbows in all the while. We don’t deserve dogs.

New here. Living with stage 4 cancer. Was horse mad and fanatical about cycling, but they now mainly provide me with good memories of a great life. Still opinionated and fighting for research into metastatic breast cancer. I also love dogs. Here are the two we have now. Both legends.
