Something similar to the Lagg Corriecravie happens here, but less complex this time.
Still, the final product is amazing, especially for its age. The mineral feeling, the smoke, the ex-rye—superb. A great bottle from a promising distillery.

Final | Finish:
Medium to long, with that funky sparkling water feeling on the palate. Salty, smoky, with a woody touch and a bit hot, finishing on vanilla extract.

Paladar | Tasting:
Not too liquid, but not syrupy either. Good alcohol integration. The ex-rye spice jumps out, carrying through to whipped cream, rye bread, and brown sugar. Sweet chili jam, with berries closing it all out, always with that sparkling water, mineral feeling on the palate.

En la Nariz | On the Nose:
Immediatly jumps out the ex-rye plus the Bordeaux cask influence. Fresh, light and fruity. A touch of smoke, along with the malt. Apple compote and some vanilla. Plums, closing with stone fruit compote, with mineral sensation on the nose.

+ Lore: Made from laureate barley, working on a 48 - 52 ppm peat level, working on a combination of 1°st fill ex-Rye (64%) + virgin Chinkapin (24%) + 1°st fill ex-Bordeaux (12%)
Methdology: Let it rest on my trustworthy Glencairn - like copita, for 15 - 20 minutes with the hat / toppper on.

Comentario | Commentary:
Amazing, hits way above its price point, by far. It does not drink like a 43%, passes as a 46% every day of the week. Superb balance of alcohol integration and the influence of all of the casks. A great entry point for Single Pot Still Whiskey

Final | Finish:
Medium, the milk chocolate and christmas spices. This leaves caramel and vanilla, super good.

Paladar | Tasting:
Creamy and jolly, the oat milk comes up, and a bit of hazelnut. Sherry from the background, playing all around the palate. The classic spice shows, washing and cooling the sherry, dried fruits and a hint of spice, but sweet?, almost like if it was dipped in milk chocolate.

En la Nariz | On the Nose:
From the start, vanilla and oat milk, sweet and approachable. Some dried fruits, caramel, almost like a mix of a vegan ''latte'', with whiskey. Some heat (more wood than the grain), and a hit of sherry.
