I know a game my friends keep begging me to play is Minster Hunter. The tutorial portion was pure torture, all my energy was gone by the time I was able to join a quest.

I feel so bad for my habit, but the fear of long, unskippable cutscenes and/or the 10 cutscenes per in-game step is what prevents me from wanting to play story based games.

I legit cannot sit through it.

Thats one of my biggest complaints. I see a lot of younger artists who are way more motivated and skilled than I, but thats because they were allowed more time and/or probably had a lot more support.

I struggle so bad with my art. I'm not where I should be, but that's bc I'm struggling to live.
