be forgiving. Trust me. Be upfront. Some say, "Never let them see you sweat. That is BS. Be vulnerable. Tell them before the session, "Be patient, still learning the rules, or didn't prep as much as I wanted." You will find they just want to share a fun and exciting game--flaws and all.

As a GM, I read, absorb, video game npc chatter. I don't do speed runs or furiously gear chase.

A game needs, lore, story-good writing, art, and game play to keep my interest. Any game, ttrpg or video game.

priests commonly give guidance in how people should interpret these blessings and curses, and what measures need to be taken to benefit from a blessing or remove a curse.
