Repubs have shouted "Socialist" at everything left of unrestrained White-Nationalist-Capitalism for generations. They've only gotten better at controlling the narrative, saying "Dems are too far left!" all over the media, when we're not. Voting WITH them epitomized our shoot-own-foot Leadership.

Here's reality: we strutted through the 2018 midterms, squeaked a win against Trump in 2020 (a win that was FAR closer than it should have been) then in 2024 we lost in all but 19 states against a felonious pedophile that mismanaged a pandemic, because we embraced centrism instead of "Left" policies

He likely has an ok relationship but he has the rights because there was a clause in the original contract. And I don't think the clause transfers visuals. If he went to someone other than Disney there'd be new designs. He's always been able to write novels with the chars and they've been... okay.
