I'm not a finance guy, but it feels like a choice to let companies generate income in your country but not pay tax on it there.

Yeah but it can make you a generic travel itinerary. Sacrifices must be made

He's just lying. We collectively need to get our heads round the fact they're not going to admit what they're doing
November 24, 2025 at 5:58 PM
They have such a systemic failure to understand the value of *doing* things.

Everything is end product.
November 19, 2025 at 3:10 PM
So it's good at copying?

Cool - so?

An industry in desperate need of a purpose.
November 19, 2025 at 3:02 PM
It's an impressive leap into the abyss to position welfare as 'not Christian'.
November 19, 2025 at 11:12 AM
Baffled is the right word. I'm mostly just confused by what they're doing. It's not good governance or electoral politics. So that just leaves stupidity or maliciousness.

What's the offer to me?

I'm a broadly progressive professional nearing middle age.

Pandering to the right on social issues disgusts me. Their cowardice and lack of imagination on economic issues embarrasses me.

Voted for them at the GE, they're not getting my vote anytime soon

I don't think Labour has earned itself the benefit of 4d chess claims
November 17, 2025 at 2:26 PM
Surely that's not real, surely
November 11, 2025 at 1:26 PM
Especially when the AI bubble continues to do basically nothing positive for the vast majority of people
November 8, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Someone's PR firm is earning their keep.

I'm super excited. I only listened to the first season a month ago and binged it almost immediately. It gave me a proper spine shudder at a couple of points.
October 28, 2025 at 6:09 PM
Why? What possible political or economic advantages could this have?
October 24, 2025 at 12:45 PM
I believe you. But it feels like they don't have a Comms plan *at all*.
October 22, 2025 at 7:21 PM
It feels insane how much the entire Government comms operations could be fixed by a single average comms account managers from a professional agency, with 5-10 years experience.
October 22, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Don't know man, kind of just sounds like your brother has a prominent Nazi symbol tattooed on himself
October 22, 2025 at 3:26 PM
The opposition has gone pants-on-head mad, and Labour seems to basically be going "hmm yes, maybe you have a point".
October 22, 2025 at 12:31 PM
I'm not as much angry as confused
October 21, 2025 at 11:21 AM
The party needs to somehow grab itself by the lapels and tell itself to sort itself out
October 20, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Over a long enough time frame, all AI becomes Hitler
October 17, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Honestly at this point, I'd pay a premium to not have its bloatware in stuff. I'm getting to the point of needing a new laptop but I'm hoping if I limp on a few more years the fad will implode under its own stupidity.
October 17, 2025 at 7:23 AM
If there'd only been some way of seeing all this coming.
October 17, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Why?

Hard to believe anyone is still dumb enough to be underwriting this bubble with blank cheques.

What actually gets worse if OpenAI just went away?
