As a Canadian and an Albertan, I have been thinking about possible referendum ideas. Perhaps we should tie the travel budget for legislators and the Premier to the annual AISH benefit. Maybe we should petition to have the elected officials subject to press conferences while under a lie detector.

So now there is a tarrif on Guyanese goods of 38%. The US seems to exclude tariffs on oil, bauxite, and gold. However , those exports went into the very complex calculus that was used... so while other Caricom counties only have to deal with 10%, Guyana is getting punished. 1/2

Given everything going on I would recommend listening to the album precious friends with Pete Seger and Arlo Guthrie. It's a good grounding experience.

Seeing as how aparrently what you are reading is such an indicator of behavior? I am currently reading super heavy - making and breaking of the periodic table. Just finished Martha Wells amazing muderbot diaries in a blitz coming back from Sinapore. (Fricken amazing work - loved all of them. )

After I moved to Canada a couple of years ago I realized that I was no longer constantly running a massive stress routine in the background of my mind worrying about health care and guns. It was weirdly noticeable only when it stopped.
