The Class 101 DMU now has buffer beam detail and Kadees between the coaches. It really is a sweet runner and stands up well against the latest models. Still got to sort the headcodes, etc.

Back to the early 1970s and Brush Type 4, 1659 heads the Sheffield - Newton Abbot motorail. The train consist includes Newton & Chambers car carriers and Mk1 first class coaches.

A bit of a running session with 1200 'Falcon'. Powered by two Maybach MD655 engines (like the Westerns), it was built by Brush in 1961 and withdrawn in 1976.

Sorted a few running issues with this rake, a couple of the bogies were tight and derailing. The underframes have been weathered, as have the wheels. Next job is the roofs. 47435 provides the motive power.

Renumbered another batch of coaches into Western Region allocated vehicles (except the Midland Region RMB) and fitted with Hunt couplings/Kadees. 31123 is in charge for a test run over points and crossovers. Consist is:
SK, RMB, BFK Mk2, FK, TSO, SK, SK.
