The thing about Crumbl is that they're mid but they're fresh. There is no place as readily accessible to mid-sized towns who serves up actual warm, fresh baked cookies. Especially when you have Panera, sold out to PE in 2017, and is absolute shit now.

Another thing is when I'm looking up a restaurant, and DoorDash or Facebook or Yelp has more info than their website. Or their online "menu" requires me to navigate to "Menu", then click on a sublink like "Appetizers", then go back so I can click on "Main Entrees" etc.

*These* guys have never gotten laid without paying for it, implicitly or explicitly. At least, not with women.

I refuse to give in to this, semi- is the "2x per increment" prefix and bi- is the "every other increment" prefix, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Observation - You get very defensive about ppl who talk about your cats in a very common way, for someone who posts about their cats to their hundreds of thousands of followers. I don't know why that is, but it bums me out to see you get so unnecessarily aggro, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one.

Yes, in fact, that is the point of a platform like this. What you're not entitled to is a response.

Most people understand that posting to social media is inviting discussion. If you want to get your opinions out into the world without debate, post a blog and turn the comments off.

I think it's mostly that she's dumb, but also there are things she believes in more deeply than she's a Trump sycophant. This doesn't excuse or justify anything she's said or done, just calls out how she's different from, e.g., Marco Rubio, who doesn't believe in anything.

He was making the point that this isn't a reductive "digital vs. film" or even "practical effects vs. CGI" one by using a purely digital example of the cinematic elements being discussed, while also showing movies shot on film that were post-produced beyond all recognition.

You kinda missed the point though? The video is about cinematography and perception of certain visual elements, and you are in no way addressing the points made on those topics.

They strike such a unique balance between professional and casual. They're not the Who or the Replacements. They're not Pavement or the Rentals. They had a maniac on drums who didn't bring tension the way Bonham or Grohl did. So it's "rock", but it's familiar and strange all at once.

I care less about ownership of the problem then solving it. Reopening the government without a solution and passing the buck is not a solution.

The path forward is simple and achievable: reopen the government, extend the existing ACA tax credits for one year, and begin bipartisan talks on long-term healthcare affordability.

The ball is in Republicans’ court.
