Shidge shippers are literally the nicest people I've ever met, I would trust them with my life.

A common shidge headcanon seems to be Shiro and Pidge can't sleep well, so you'll find a lot of shidge fics feature them (platonically, in most cases) sleeping together for comfort and it's really sweet.

And of course we have the whole "they know each other's full name" thing going for us too.

She can't think of any weaknesses for Shiro except his flashbacks, which she knows she could use against him and doesn't—and she still ends up winning against him and everyone else.

idk there's a lot of Interesting Stuff going on there.

With Pidge, there's also an element of Shiro mistaking her for her brother during a flashback, which is painful for the both of them.

In the comics, Pidge has a dossier of everyone's weaknesses and has to fight all of the other Paladins to retrieve an item.

that's a neat take on shidge tho! and not one i see explored. for me shidge, is less about Shiro's guilt about feeling a certain way about Pidge but his guilt about not being able to save her family/keep them together?

haiiii now i gotta know what is it you like about shidge? (there's so much to love about them imho but i love hearing why others like them too)
