The problem was he was so over extended and held so much property that the banks couldn't foreclose - THE BANKS had no other choice but to renegotiate the lower rates to his advantage. They could not sell all the properties foreclosed on. He got a break that no one else would have.

Bought $MSFT shares in 2000. At one time around either 2006 or 2007, I considered selling it off at a price of around $25 because it was flat over that period of time. Something said hold on. 😁 #StayTheCourse #Investing
