Take a look at this chatbot we are developing with @dalberggroup.bsky.social Data Insights and Design, with funding from @gatesfoundation.bsky.social.

Supervising CHWs often means making decisions without actionable data. So, what if we could give supervisors insights at their fingertips?

A child’s development shouldn’t be left to chance. But in many health systems, care is fragmented and parents don’t have the tools to support their children.

In June, our #Tanzania team worked with Design Agency Khanga Rue, under our partnership with Endless Network to understand care-seeking behaviours around non-communicable diseases.

The insights will help us to design and pilot a digital screening tool for NCDs, leveraging the Afya-Tek model 📲

This week, we say 👋🏽 to Kachengwa & Lawrence as one of our Malawi projects closes.

As developers, they did more than write code. They helped build the future of community health, from designing care tools to training health workers and shaping ICHIS into a nationally owned system. We will miss you!

But along the way, I realized something: as a doctor, I’d mostly treat people after they’re sick.

What I wanted was to prevent illness—especially among children—so they can survive, thrive, and live out their dreams.

My journey into health started with a childhood shaped by lots of illness and school absenteeism. Despite that, I performed well academically and always dreamed of becoming a doctor.
