That Defensive End out of South Florida has an unfortunate name given recent events.

Somebody never left their angst phase. If you'd like to stop being a pessimist, you could join us in the world where we try to fix shit.

I've lived in a red state too, I don't disagree that they are bad in areas, however that might be correlation, not causation. These areas are rural for farming, so there's less people to inhabit these large swaths of land they have, as for the deep south its partly cause segregation (that's a drag).

Agriculture perhaps, I'd seed that point to you (pun intended), my original point was supposed to be about food, not all agriculture. Only 12 states produce more food then they consume, all of which are red with the exceptions of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
January 3, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Depends on your meaning of used for food, the inedible corn we grow is used predominantly for ethanol but also for cow and other livestock feed, which feeds us, no matter how unhealthy. Also, side note, I've never heard it called the corn basket, unless you mean corn belt which is a bit different.

I never said they didn't, however most is still grown in the bread basket.
January 2, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Right, so what is the point? Dunk on some red states? I mean certainly they're not as high rated in some categories, however they are still productive and important in their own right.
January 2, 2025 at 5:09 PM
I think this is slightly unfair, afterall a majority of agricultural works comes from those red states. I'm not saying they're better, but it's unreasonable to say we're carrying them. Without food supply, we'd be in deep shit. The US is a well-oiled machine, and it needs all its parts to run well.

Medical advancement really is something, good thing there's no organized groups trying to drag us back into the stone age...

...right?

I fail to see the point in picking a fight with me here. I simply stated that people should save whatever they can and when they can. If we disagree on that minute of a difference, there's no point in arguing. I never said anything bad about those who can't save.
December 15, 2024 at 7:30 AM
I never said I disagreed with that, my point was you should be saving most of the time with whatever you can for the occasion when you need to make one of those purchases.

Alright, but like, hear me out, they point out all the dogs hit aspects about the media, and then bam. It just sucks now. That voice runs on loop when your watching it, just about how those flaws and now you can see them, your eyes are opened to what's always been in front of you.
December 15, 2024 at 7:17 AM
ok but like, low-key, and level with me here, not only is that a great screenshot, but I mean...

like i kinda wish...

my arteries would be clogged with happiness!
December 15, 2024 at 7:11 AM
This is certainly true, it's why saving for the better option often works out in the long term for practical goods
December 15, 2024 at 7:05 AM
