Someone do a FOIA of USCG interdictions over the past 5 years specifically looking at the number of persons onboard the vessel when interdicted. The numbers from today where 3-4 per vessel. The earlier strikes with 11 and 14 persons onboard were not vessels smuggling drugs.

In 20+ years of experience in drug interdiction from tactical to strategic, I never heard of 11 people on a panga smuggling cocaine, never! Venezuela is a small fraction of the overall flow of cocaine to U.S. Don't believe a damn thing the Admin or Admiral say. Make them prove it!

Of note, I'm 99% sure the USCG has never had a shootout with drug smugglers caught on the open seas in the past 40 years. Pistol Pete loves the image of armed smugglers ready to battle but its more of his bullshit.
