...to stop our current system. Idk.

You might be morally correct to escalate, but I'm not sure you'd accomplish nearly as much as you would simply trying to educate people in a non-judgemental way. I don't pretend to know the right answer though, just some thoughts I have on the subject.

... definition of neglect. And what's socially acceptable will slowly evolve over time as well.

Similarly on animal rights, vegans have some solid arguments against our current meat eating culture. But it is VERY socially acceptable to eat meat. I'm certain they'd feel a strong moral obligation...

... going to have their own opinion about how much you should do to protect your cat. From one extreme of having outdoor cats you take no precautions for, to idk, obsessive people who don't ever let their cats out of their sight? Like there's always going to be people to the left and right of any...

Totally get that. Honestly not sure what the right answer is, why I feel like my suggestion was a bit on the pessimistic side.

On one hand, historically we haven't chipped cats. And they've been fine. But we also historically spanked children, which has awful consequences.

I think everyone is ...

Maybe a bit of a pessimistic take, but I wouldn't really escalate past there? Progress moves slowly.

That cats don't need to be chipped"

Slightly more effective pitch:
Talk about how lovely / how much they care for their cat. Mention that you just got your cats chipped because it's much safer for them. Expand on how/why if they seem responsive. Otherwise just let the seed you planted grow.

I guess if you care most about effectiveness, you could think about it like sales?

Ineffective pitch: 'Youre a neglectful cat owner for not having them chipped'
Brings an emotional response "I'm not a neglectful/abusive person, so there must be something wrong with the above statement. It must be

Seriously selling us out for real estate profits? RTO is the opposite of progressive. Hugely disappointed

I just assume anyone who can't keep their composure in a debate either doesn't have a real point to make, or is a troll bot for engagement.

Seems to help me not get overly invested

Do the same for foreign nationals. Otherwise we'll basically suffer the same fate as a gentrified neighborhood, but on a much larger scale. But we're also a more captive audience, as it's not like many of us will have the ability to move to a different country for cheaper cost of living.

Jokes aside. I'm not sure how average Americans will be able to afford to live in our own country in the near future. With so much capital being spent on rent seeking activities, there's not a lot of growth sectors left in the US.

So either we force corps to sell off their housing stock, and...

Working on it!

So far my releases aren't much more than interactive, animated flashcards with purchasable upgrades.

But! I'm working on an apothecary style trigonometry game. As well as a factoring game that truly is a game, just with factoring underlying the main game mechanic.

... It works great for creating equations or graphs, and allows some cool transitions between steps. Certainly takes a long time to get it quite right though!
