You can make this even more extreme by losing all your coins by running away from the Fighter Flies in the room before Tolstar. (The minimum amount of coins you can have for this scene is 3 because Mario jumping on Bowser in the cannon gives you 3 coins.)

Still thinking about modding the GameCube Animal Crossing. I wonder if it would be possible to mod the blank NES furniture item to act like a stereo does. Instead of getting a different NES for each game you get the cartridges and store them in the NES. I mocked up some screenshots to visualize it.
