Mary Kay and I head to Michigan pretty much every summer. People think Michigan is a cold tough place but in summer it is a wonderful summer getaway. Here are a couple photos of our favorite places which include Traverse City area and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

We just returned from a 70th birthday celebration weekend in Bloomington Indiana. My brother Steve and his wife Patty have birthdays just about one month apart so their 3 kids put together this wonderful party at the Upland Brewery and Restaurant. Family from Indiana, Michigan & Missouri attended.
