I had similar weirdly mundane and "realistic" stuff happen in my dreams, also of the kind where i dream having discussions with celebrities i would never talk to. We don't know how dreams work, i wouldn't read too much into it. Might just be your brain processing all the lib shit you see on here.

Yea i still haven't finished all my Hoxha, so far only got through his stuff on Titoist and Khrushchevite revisionism. I'm certainly very critical of Vietnamese and Cuban leadership and structure because i know there is no magical "return to Socialism" button from all the market and privatization bs

Yeah that's why i didn't mention China cuz it's undeniable with their leadership, still not so sure about Vietnam and Cuba tho. Critical support would be my stance on them currently.

Still they are definitely examples that Socialism and Socialist revolution is more than possible and successful at achieving its goals just like with the early SU, meaning there are plenty of real world example of successful (whatever definition that has) Socialist states.

I would certainly say that about China but i know not enough about Vietnam or Cuba to make that judgement. They have been under massive pressure by their neighbours having been forced to adopt market systems and private investment and idk how able they are to defend from that, unlike China.

she does have more spine and fight than most other dems cuz she grew up in a refugee camp, having lived through actual hardship but that just begs the question why she decided to serve the system that puts people like her in such camps anyway.
