The hits keep coming, y’all. In a new move in their continued dismantling of the National Park Service, the Trump administration, hundreds of employees were removed from their position as rangers. Employees were told Friday afternoon they were being “consolidated” to the Department of the Interior.

Crashing the economy creates chaos, fear, and desperation—fertile ground for an authoritarian to rise. When people are hurting, they’re more likely to trade freedom for the promise of order. It’s a classic playbook: break the system, then offer to “fix” it by seizing power.

If the President can rule by decree and cannot be scrutinized or reviewed by the other two branches, then this experiment in democracy is done.

If the Supreme Court ultimately agrees with what the gov't is arguing today, that the President has broad Article II powers that would permit it to deport people & there can be no judicial review, then literally no one is safe.

Why on earth would trump want to eliminate the Dept of Education…..to control information, limit critical thinking, indoctrinate citizens with state-approved ideology, reduce dissent and create a population more susceptible to propaganda and authoritarian rule.
