Taught a class on these wind chimes and decided we needed one based on the progressive pride flag. It's very sparkly and I love it.

Hard to take a good picture of beveled glass, imo. Either way, I really like this one. The horizon line is roughly a quarter inch of cranberry glass and it definitely shows more brilliantly in person.

For fun, my successful test; a side-by-side of my many unsuccessful tests; the trays of pieces painted up and ready to fire; and the carnage of my poor palette and table afterwards. (The paint also soaked through the paper and I had to wash the table anyway haha.)

Was looking back to try and find my oldest pieces, but instead found this from '17. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it actually soldered and puttied, much less installed, but it is notable for the experimentation I had to do. (Explanation below, along with more pictures.)

It depicts four sections with two types of stylised flowers: one type in each of the furthest left and right sections, and the other type in the center two sections. There is a wide border of glass separating each section and also around the whole window.

Something a little different (but also not). This cardinal is from '19, and was one of the smaller mosaics I had done at the time. It's a groutless mosaic, which I waffled on for quite some time, but ultimately I think it looks best this way.

Can't remember exactly when I made this. Had to be somewhere between '16 and '18 though. I really enjoyed this one; it was one of the first times I got to use mottled glass in a way I thought really set it off.

No progress pictures of these little guys, but here's a small window from five years ago. I think I would make the last sandpiper leg also a wire overlay if I were to make this again, but that's the only change.

This one is from just last year. My first experiment in plating (layering glass for added affect in colour or texture). I like it, but I can see where I would do it differently next time.

Taught myself a five strand braid, mimicking the existing pressed copper work on the right, to replace the missing hook on the left side of this sweater closure.
