I saw these at the National Arboretum in DC in 1996 or so. They used to be a part of the Capitol building but were removed for renovations. They were transferred there because they are a part of American history, and are not refuse only suitable for infill at a damn golf course.

now, my thai basil is massively outproducing its cousin, but the real winner here is the jalapeno plant you can barely see between the tomato and the thai basil, i should have put it in a cage. my pico de gallo ratios aren't going to work out at all. next year, tomatoes in the backyard for more sun.

so many Boss Hogg type County Judges running their petty little fiefdoms in between and around Austin and San Antonio. and yes they used to just be speed traps, but now they have real money from being around major metropolitan areas.
