people in other countries are laughing but they don't understand. all americans MUST experience a life-ruining financial apocalypse every 10-15 years or we start to get anxious and chew our limbs off waiting for it to happen. it's how we were raised!! we need it for stability!!!

"Let's assume the author's issue is that generative AI is used instead of hiring human actors." Exactly. It's normal to apply your personal ethics to the media you engage with. It's also clearly drawn by the critic, allowing you to easily disagree. That's a good review.

I will say again, Nostalgia is the Devil's Word when it comes to media, especially games. Like that word barely means what it's supposed to mean at this point and it's damaging our ability to communicate about the history of games.
