One of my fave reads as a teenager. Was sad the 2nd one didn’t live up to the first, never made it past that one.

Their monthly OA pain meds (their next big thing) are essentially dead products due to social media backlash which hampers their growth outlook going forward the next couple years. That being said long term they’re probably fine as they enter into other specialty areas, will take a bit though.

I also think it’s a pretty complex company that I need to learn more about over time to fully understand it.

I bought some recently. I think the long term rollout of AI across multiple industries that are just now starting to use it outweigh the short term government funding concerns. That being said I’m buying in slowly as probably still room to go down.

I always appreciate the updates you provide. Are there other good socal fire tracker sources on Bluesky that you follow? I hate downloading the “other” app just for updates

Very tempting at 12 P/E but also scary because without a catalyst it’s not rebounding anytime soon. Going to have to be a legal/FDA ruling on compounders that get them to stop selling GLP’s or a dramatic new indication (Alzheimer’s today on call did not sound likely “high risk, high reward”)

Just received my homeowners insurance renewal (live in SoCal) and it is now up 200% in 3 years with no ability to switch companies or shop around. I’m sure this is playing a role in an already expensive market.

Certain areas of California such as the inland empire that represented significant areas of recent housing development have gone through a boom-bust cycle similar to other parts of the country while other areas are still richly priced. You would have to see it by area to get the full picture.

Im still holding $NVO but starting to worry I’m waiting for a catalyst that may never come. Do you think the stock reprices down the line just based on its normal growth trajectory or does it need a catalyst?

Games like “Fortnite” often have paid tournaments and a lot of the winners are teenagers

I learned my lesson holding $ALB for too long and seeing the effect China has played in lithium. This sounds really bad for a lot of American semi companies.
