Uh, let's see; how to distill the idea of 'me' ...

'I'm an 80's kid that never grew up' sums it up.

I like writing, gaming, science, maths, music electronics, art, anime, messing around with AI and sailing my decrepit sailboat like a dirty river pirate.
Really leaning toward them hot model trajectories at the moment.

That's adorable... But probably annoying sometimes.

Now I have Man-Eater stuck in my head. Thanks! It's a great tune.

Jokes on you, I mean the 2000's when I say "The other day."

It's your pleasure to have the conversation a about why there are no answers I guess.

Perfect ice breaker.

Probably some stuff; but that's okay.

I still get a pounding heart in my chest when I play competitive games, like first person shooters, or even chess. Also when public speaking, or when speaking to a foreigner and trying desperately not to mess up my hastily memorized sentence.

How'd it go btw?

You should read up on superstring theory.

This is the way.

Pff, nice try. Normal people don't have to say that! 😂

I totally agree. When I was younger I used to scoff at people who complained of PTSD who had spent zero time in combat.

I realized that sympathetic nervous system reactions don't care what society thinks is worth freaking out about; it just does its job.

Got bullied?

Got Shot at?

Same thing.

Typo: *did not want to die*
February 20, 2025 at 8:08 PM
As an Afghan veteran I have legally and ethically ended the lives of people who did not want die.

Legality and ethics are not identical. Killing in war is legal; by war principles, ethical. Ethics are shaped by societal consensus; what we collectively define as just.

*scribbles notes* ... with shovel. Okay.
February 18, 2025 at 2:36 PM
I hate to be the *pushes glasses up the bridge of his nose* "Actually" guy here, but I'm rather confident this is not a real image. Seems to me it is a render of some kind.

But I'm just a random internet person so ...

They probably already do.

So you go to the laptop in your apartment and have tasks to complete, but can't allow other players to figure out who you are and where you live.

If they find out, you'll get murdered.

But they can't do it overtly, so there would be a lot of subterfuge, stealth and guile.
February 17, 2025 at 2:55 AM
I have this MP game concept where you start in your household and you're an operative that has tasks given to you via email and they are rated by overtness required to complete them because all other players are trying to identify each other and assassinate each other.

Nice!
