was curious so looked up how many libraries are in the US, around 120k depending on the source and about 17k are public the majority are school libraries so depending on the book in question that could easily be 1000s to 100,000s of sales of a books

Not your normal symphony but Apashe did an EDM show with live orchestra, and it was wild. One of the more impressive musical shows I have seen of any genre. The orchestra looked like they were having so much fun.

Went to the Witcher in Concert a month ago and it was so much fun to see people in full cosplay including some of the performers, would go again

my colleagues with a PhD is they have a PhD after their name. The number of times I have been introduced as Dr despite not having a PhD is many, which to me just shows that knowledge is more important than a piece of paper you have to argue with your advisor to get.

I used to watch RP a lot more and found it generally quite helpful, wasn't aware of this controversy and from what I can see it just confirms my dislike of the PhD part of academia. For reference I work in academia as a researcher with just a masters degree. And the only difference between me and

The number of candidates who I have rejected because they were horrible to interact with and were good a math has been many (and almost always men), it doesn't matter how good at math you are if you can't explain it to those who are not (which my job often requires)

And not just meat but dairy as well, I have gotten just as much push back from not consuming dairy as I did about meat when I was vegan, no longer vegan but still no dairy due to dietary issues

At all of these I got compliments on my outfits and just generally great shows, good audience, good music, will go again. Really felt welcomed by the people at these shows as a transwoman, and just was happy at them.
