While Trump waits for world leaders to ‘kiss the ring’, they are forging new trade agreements that exclude the U.S. His ‘they need us’ attitude is horribly offensive and counter productive. Whatever benefits he secures, will pale in comparison to the long term price Americans will pay.

We are setting a nasty precedent by surrendering some of Ukraine in exchange for peace. It validates an illegal invasion and encourages more of the same. Plus, who appointed Trump as mediator? Talk about a conflict of interest.

According to sources, 3.5 million Canadians spent 6.5 billion dollars in Florida in 2018. If enough Canadians travel elsewhere or stay home, Florida, Trump’s home, could take quite a hit.

The ambush in the Oval Office was staged to discredit Zelensky, remove him from office, and pave the way for Putin’s land grab. In exchange, Putin will sever his alliance with China, nipping Chinese aspirations on Taiwan. Think’n out loud.

Much of the mystery in Washington relates to China and its ambitions to control critical minerals and semiconductors. It explains Trumps concern over Taiwan, Greenland and Panama. The Ukraine will be sacrificed to sever the Russia-China alliance. Can we trust Putin??

Ever wonder about the silence in Washington over Trump’s bizarre behaviour. I suspect everyone, including Democrats, are in on a grand scheme to neutralize growing superpower China and its designs on Taiwan. The U.S. is not going to let the ‘chips’ fall where they may, if you get my drift.

It all may be coming into focus. The U.S.-Russia alliance may be a response to the threat of China, which has been flexing its military muscle around Taiwan. The U.S. recognizes it will need the backing of Putin to get China to heel. Trump is willing to sacrifice Ukraine to make this happen.

I have come to understand the American silence. They are so focused on their own fortunes, that they couldn’t care less about Ukranians, Palestinians, Canadians or Mexicans. They have granted Trump free reign in the belief he’ll deliver. He will. Just not for them.

Who would have believed that a U.S. president could openly lie about an event, then side with Putin and there’s no uproar, little to no resistance. Some Americans agree with Trump, some have no idea what’s going on and the rest are afraid to speak up. The perfect environment for a dictatorship.

By every account, Americans are either ambivalent or simply unaware of current events. It’s the perfect environment for the death of democracy.
