The Nokia 3310 was released 24 years ago

It had a dot-matrix, monochrome, LCD and typical 5-line display. The platform was Java-based and had several built-in apps. Including snake. NiMH 900 mAh battery basically lasted a week

I've been looking at these military handsets for an outdoor coms project. They seem to be injection molded in two parts and use screwed on ear and mouthpieces

This lends itself very well to 3D printing and someone already came up with plans earlier this year
