If you want to know what's coming next - for all of science that the US government can touch, not just biomed - this thread looks at the roadmap laid out by Bhattacharya's fellow GBD author (and current chair of some cosplay vaccine authority I can't be bothered to look up):
The roadmap for turning the NIH into an EBM slush fund and shutting down real science. Kulldorf, in the new public health blog ("journal") co-founded by Bhattacharya.

Maybe it’s because of the influx of NYC people here after 2020, but the mall and grocery stores here were jam packed full of people from Wednesday night till Sunday late afternoon. Rt 1 was a nightmare
