Now is not the time to be a “no show.” Elected members of Congress who do not attend tonight's address to the Nation by the President would be tantamount to firefighters on 911 running away from the burning buildings, not into them. Elected officials must be in the House.

My sympathy is with the families of those who died in the DCA crash. As well as” regular” people, many important and prominent people fly into DCA at 9pm. Waiting for the passenger list.

Unless it was an assassination takedown, the crash at DCA was an “accident.” Saying it was caused by DEI hiring is ridiculous! Don't get distracted!

It's troubling to watch the Trump administration intimidate the White House Press. They are afraid to ask the hard questions because they fear losing their credentials. Watching that relationship be undermined is troubling. Fire “them”!

DEI is not just a “buzzword”! It’s the backbone of equality in our country. Laying off federal employees and halting funding for initiatives that support “DEI” is a huge step “back”. The federal government cannot be “inclusive”, and serve “all”Americans, without “DEI”.

Is there an option to mail in Oscar votes and forgo the glitz considering the fires in California?Perhaps the stars, Hollywood A-listers, designers, and all others who profit from the pomp and pageantry could donate the money they would have spent to the firefighting and rebuilding effort.

Downtown DC is beginning to look like a prison compound. Black metal fences and barricades are eerily going up everywhere in preparation for the Inaugural. It’s daunting. Makes you wonder which side of the fence you should be on?
