I am writing on a new website over on Substack: "Reading George Orwell." Please subscribe - it's free and will remain so. What's it about? "Reading George Orwell" presents brief commentaries and analyses about Orwell’s work and life. Not only was he a prescient and prolific writer, but also one of the most fascinating figures of the 20th century.

In a Kitchen Library: Reflections on Reading

My newest book is now available on Amazon. And it soon will be listed on other online locations as well. I've loved to read since that eureka moment when I cracked the code and made sense of the squiggles on the page. Since then, I've read thousands of…

I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.

I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.

Protest in Gainesville, FL. At least 1K in attendance, no counter protesters that I saw. One guy not carrying a sign or wearing a T-shirt with a slogan bumped into me pretty hard and didn't turn around to apologize. I didn't make a big deal out of it, and everyone else was spirited and polite.

Thank you for calling BS on the orange clown, Warren Buffet.
In a video the president shared on his Truth Social platform, a narrator claims that legendary investor Warren Buffett said Trump “is making the best economic moves he’s seen in over 50 years.”

Loomer waltzed into the White House yesterday and brown-nosed the orange clown. The upshot? More firings.
