He openly admitted to using the Boring company to defraud the California government to prevent investments in rail. He's going to use this to make Amtrak unusable.

I vividly remember, I don't know how, but somehow my dad managed to score a copy a few weeks early to get it to me on my birthday. I didn't even find out till years later I had gotten the game before the release date. 😂

If you get the chance, you absolutely should, I've been rereading them lately and I think they held up pretty well as young adult novels!

I think every large company that pays a full time employee so little that they even qualify for food stamps should be taxed 200% of the claimed amount to cover the administrative work and benefits required to effectively provide corporate welfare.

So I daily a Miata, small and gets 40+ mpg on the highway, people cannot grasp that the one day a year I need a truck, I just rent one for $70. Half the time I return the truck so fast they don't even charge me the full day rate. I think I spent $25 last time I rented one including gas.

I can see the desire for high speed chargers along travel corridors, but I know I statistically drive way more than the average person (≈ 40k a year) and it's a very rare day I break 200mi in a single day, so charging at home would be fine.

You're good, I think you brought up an excellent point of how they used to have radar and actively removed it to rely solely on worse technology.

Yeah I think they disabled the other sensors in '21 and cars made since don't have them at all

As far as I know telsa solely uses cameras. Funny thing about that, not even robot vacuums do that because using solely cameras is too unreliable for their use case, avoiding obstacles.

I'll probably go to a Z Tab when they come out too, if I could have an 8in tab that expands out into the size of my S9 Ultra that would be amazing.

I love mine, wouldn't go back to a slab phone. The durability issues are greatly exaggerated, in two years of daily driving a folding phone that I work with I've had to schedule a single screen protector replacement that Samsung covered for free, the next one is $12.

Most of what I've tested I can run at 720p30 at least, skate3 I've played with a bit and gotten almost a consistent 1080p60

The hardware actually isn't too bad, I mainly emulate the PS3 on a Ryzen 7 8745H with only it's integrated 780M gpu

Thankfully PS3 emulation is pretty competent these days. But if you think anything you have hasn't been archived it's very easy to modify a PS3 for backing up disk.

I feel like this game suffers heavily from the trend that open world games always need to be bigger than the next. I feel the reason Skyrim and FO3 worked is because you were always about to walk into something, whether it be a landmark, side quest, or dungeon.

Mine just added 10x more copies, hope the same happens for you!

It looks like that is the case based on the outcome from a class action in 2023 that was dismissed for that reason.

My understanding is the driver is still liable, because the terms of service you are made to agree to to use it says -driver first needs to agree to “keep your hands on the steering wheel at all times” and to always “maintain control and responsibility for your vehicle." - from their website

I really don't know, when I did the math the fuel savings would have been ate by higher insurance in under a year and I live somewhere with extremely cheap electricity.

Can confirm, cross shopped the Model 3 when I bought my Miata a few years ago, the lowest quote I got on the Model 3 was from Progressive and it was more than double of what I pay for the Miata, which is y'know a bright red sports car.
