I hate cutting out patterns. It isn't fun for me and it makes my back hurt. I often end up spreading the cutting over a few days. Good job cutting out 3 projects!

I usually assume that a garment project is going to be spread over at least 3 or 4 active (cutting, marking, sewing) days, with an unknown number of inactive days between.

I'm thinking about cutting the shape out of wood, that way I can use starch and an iron to force it into shape after I do the sewing. In theory.

I think I need a form to shape it over. Trying to do it freehand isn't working.

Everytime I make bias binding I make way more than I need, because it could come in handy some day. I figure that if I like a fabric well enough to decide to make binding, I will use it again.
