I strongly disagree.
USA war crimes the last couple decades is maybe the most obvious.
Tons of erudite academics supported (& many still support) these actions.

Whereas I know many people who think all sorts of dumb things but have empathy for people who are being harmed.

Dumb > Callous/Apathetic

You hate it because...
It just feels like a pointless half-post without your reason.

Tons of people believe stupid stuff.
I have far less of a problem with that than with people who believe *harmful* stuff.

Gimme a moon-truther over anti-LGBT, anti-1A, pro-War, or a thousand other things.

Mormonism really pushes responsibility (talks in church, assignments, daily scripture reading, etc).

But it discourages (to some degree) close friendships with outsiders & it tends to make us wet blankets.

*BUT* when we leave the church, we lose those 2 downsides while retaining nurtured skills

While I know nothing about air quality, I do know about programming/visualization.
Could be a "nearest neighbor" method of smoothing to avoid squares/pixels which humans quickly identify as a lack of resolution.

If I'm right, there is basically 1 "pixel" of information at the center of the circle
