and every day is a marked reminder that I’ve grossly underestimated the stupidity of mankind.
Wasn’t it border patrol who got photographed pointing an assault rifle at 5 year-old Elian Gonzalez?

They kind of have a vibe.

Minnesotans hate ICE so much their museums are closing.

Emmer has always been an incompetent moron who can’t hold on to a seat that isn’t handed to him and doesn’t recognize he’s so meaningless that Trump and Trump’s circle don’t even know his name.

Then again, he did point out that waiters make $100K a year.

Re-assign them to the boundary waters-Canada border during winter where they see another human once every couple days and remind them that if they resign they have to pay back their $50K signing bonuses. Then fire them one year later.

MN was going to lose a seat in 2020, but they had the highest census response in the country, so they surprisingly kept it but will certainly lose it in 2030. The number of immigrants detained has as much of an effect on the loss as the number of guys named Gerome that moved to Suriname.

This explains why they’re invading Minnesota.

Venezuela’s oil and mineral infrastructure essentially has to be rebuilt because of how bad it is.

A decade or more of tens of billions of dollars every year before any ROI, assuming oil prices don’t decline (which they are) - billions they are expecting the US to cover.

Greenland seems like a great idea. I mean we can “take it over” pretty easy, but any company that proceeds to do anything will lose all European held assets and the ability to buy or sell with said continent.

Colombia is a country whose major cities are all in valleys 2500 meters above sea level with a military trained by us to defend against these types of assaults

Mexico and Canada share a 2000 mile land border with us. Canada and Denmark are NATO allies meaning European allies are required to defend them from us.

Venezuelan oil problems are Iraq on steroids. The sites are in disrepair, unsecured, and badly designed. They’re going to require restarting them, securing them with a US army, and waiting half a decade for an ROI while the US spends hundreds of billions.

maybe it’s because the Whitecaps’ league, imperfect as it was, allowed trans athletes. Or maybe she just genuinely doesn’t care about the sports she’s “trying to protect”

When the US won the curling event in the Olympics, she made a big deal about it - ignoring the fact that the women’s hockey team won and 50% of the team was from MN.

Some of these policies are so blatantly unlawful they’d lose a suit in ten minutes.

They’ve become so used to implementing bad policies to appease bigots, they’ve now duped themselves into rules so wide they guarantee lost mediation that apply to thousands of employees, not tens.

Subsidies that local GOP party members actually regularly vote against and are kept in place by the very very few democrats left in rural areas.

She reported that during the kidnapping the officers said “We’re not monsters. We do what the government tells us to do.”

Usually when you feel the need to tell someone that, it’s because you are one.

If scientists have to pick which oppressive regime they’ll work in, they’ll pick the one that pays more - and right now that is not the US.
