After hours, he's testing King Candy's wit (and temper) and keeping him entertained through songs, poetry, jokes, spontaneous trickery, and the like. Comet, despite being a fun-loving individual with an easygoing demeanor, is rather difficult to form a genuine bond with due to his mile-wide mean streak. He's a brazenly condescending and intentionally aggravating person with a tendency to be sarcastic, impulsive, and arrogant. It's no surprise that the denizens of Sugar Rush are unwilling to stick around this disarmingly jovial jester for long enough to attempt fighting past the superficially unpleasant personality he has carefully cultivated.

i can relate to rusty venture because i'm also a depressed man that was told he had so much potential as a kid, dropped out of college, pops pills on a regular basis in order to function properly, and is a disappointment compared to his much more successful brother. oh and i love shrimp & showtunes
