As bad as trash is in Galaxy 1, nothing made me hate Gearmo more than the Galaxy 2 special of just slightly adjusting half of Galaxy 1 and calling it a day with the "Trash, but with the Fire Flower" stars because oh my god they're somehow worse

I only really post about it now just because I almost felt like it'd be making a show of my grieving which didn't feel right. But today, being the day I got his ashes back, I kind of just need to get this out there more for a therapeutic sense.

It hurt so much to say goodbye, I've had a few pet deaths in my life but they happened when I was so much younger that I guess I didn't really fully process it all. But that on top of Shadow just being *my* cat just made it hurt so much more.

But this time around, he still would hardly touch his food or be able to pass any waste aside from uncontrollably dribbling some urine. By the time he had lost three pounds in the span of a couple days, we kind of knew that he was declining pretty hard.

The last few years he's had on and off struggles with constipation and his bladder, where on about a yearly basis we'd take him in to get unblocked and for a while some special food and medicine was enough to keep him going.

Onto heavier stuff now though, October has never really been my time of year. For reasons I'll spare the details of here, the time of year just does not leave me in the best mood. This year not helped by the fact that unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Shadow on the first.

Work's also just been putting me through the wringer lately. Retail's a bitch, between being understaffed and having to cover other shifts work or my body still struggling to get used to a new schedule. A day's work usually just leaves me a bit burnt out

I mean the first things first has just been like. Switch 2 is fun lol. I've just been chronically addicted to the damn thing, nearly logging 300 hours in Mario Kart already or Bananza and now the new Pokemon

All-Stars is honestly my last choice on how I'd play Mario 3 tbh. I love going classic with NES but also if I want the enhanced visuals I feel as though I might as well go all in and play the GBA version instead. Might be childhood bias that I can work with the screen crunch and washed out colors
