My husband (themikeballes.bsky.social) and I are the organizers and two of the game masters for the Latine Lounge, a collaborative project which helps showcase games and talents of Latin American heritage.

We've been running games in English and Spanish at Gen Con for the past three cons.

Hi, I'm Claudia and I'm Mexican! I've playtested, proofread, written, and designed for:

I've hosted panels at conventions on neurodiversity, asexuality and representation.

Mike and I started a project called @latinelounge.bsky.social, and with it we aim to do community service, to serve as a bridge between the Latine community and the global TTRPGs ecosystem, to showcase Latine talents and voices and to let them know they are welcome.

Each experience is unique and bring people together. In my case, D&D is the first TTRPG I ever played and it changed my life. I found community, made true friends, and met the love of my life (@themikeballes.bsky.social).

First, Jess Lanzillo, self described as the guardian of the IP on broader media, stated that we're celebrating 50 years of shared stories and collaborative storytelling, that TTRPGs started with imaginative people and that is still true today.

and I were invited to attend the Dungeons and Dragons press event at Gen Con. I did not live tweeted (I leave that to Mike) but I took some notes and I want to share my personal thoughts on what I saw and heard.

Two people saw me at Gen Con wearing this dress and carrying my teapot after I went to get water for my Teatime Adventures event and assumed I was cosplaying, but I don't know what character they thought I was. Can someone please explain my accidental cosplay?
