I had the peak commander game with my Eruth deck with the wincon of activating The Deck of Many Things with no hand, then rolling a nat 20 to reanimate a person’s creature to then sac it to Ashnod’s altar. A friend put a thoracle win on the stack, the table cheered for me as I rolled, but it was 19.

I play this card and all the other izzet cards that deal damage equal to the number of cards in an opponent’s hand in my Niv-Mizzet Visionary, Owling Mine deck! It’s a silly burn deck since it plays all the howling mine effects as well as the Ebony Owl Netsuke/Viseling effects.

I love this card in my owling mine Xyris deck! I use all the snake tokens made by Xyris to mimic the tap control aspect of the original deck!
