I use these soil sensors from Ecowitt for our garden www.amazon.com/ECOWITT-Mois.... Then, I just created my own gauges to display moisture levels in an easy-to-consume way using the built-in gauge card. Ecowitt support in Home Assistant is fantastic and it provides local-only control.
