I mean, it’s NOT done, I still gotta edit and then hire an editor, then do all the research on agents and querying and all that jazz. But, yo, I wrote a whole ass book.

Also, the “stick the landing” anxiety is real.
Like, you hear that finishing a book is the hardest part, but it doesn’t sink in until you’re approaching it.
It’s not like I’m leaving these characters either.
I just know that I can’t write book 2 like I did book 1.

Yesterday, this smooth brained feline managed to get one of his wand toy strings wrapped around his neck and was running around the house because he thought the mouse at the end finally decided to take its revenge.
Then, he fought my husband for helping him.

The really fun part has been putting hard “magic” limits on them.
They can’t have it active for too long
They need special supports for their body
