Simone appears to be finishing a sentence, "--And so I was kinda hoping we'd talk things over. Without the violence. That okay?" 2nd Panel: Exception ignores Simone's request to ask, "Why did they let us go?" Simone looks puzzled and lets out a mere, "Huh?" 3rd Panel: Simone has an awkward smile, showing a mixture of sympathy and levity. "You're asking why we lost our job? I dunno. Budget cuts, probably." 4th Panel: Simone places a hand on Exception's shoulder to comfort her. "Who cares about them, anyway? It's not that important--" 4-panel comic. Page 2 of 2. 1st Panel: Exception has turned to face Simone. Tears are running down her cheeks. Her eye makeup is smeared. She looks utterly heartbroken. 2nd Panel: Exception speaks honestly to Simone, "Why don't they want me? What am I supposed to do now?" 3rd Panel: Realizing what the Arcanine has been going through, a concerned Simone can only say, "Oh..." 4th Panel: Simone gets in close to provide comfort and support. She whispers, "I'm sorry..." Exception closes her eyes fully as tears continue to flow.
