Sentinels is low-key a top 5 From the Ashes title. For me, the way the machine (literal and figurative) can twist people already susceptible to fascism and radicalism into literal weapons until they've lost their humanity and alienated those they loved felt very timely.

You can make fun on Onslaught all you want, but Schism was trite and Austen and Milligan's X-Men was terrible.
