I’ve been struggling with reckoning my dad’s nice guy/grandpa persona with his willingness to just casually vote away his granddaughters’ rights and futures without a blink. It’s mostly the racism in his case, as he lives in a small rural town that has changed around him & is mostly immigrants now.
