The joys of intensive care nursing.

Absolutely, as much as I enjoy not wearing anything, there’s no way i would want to look after my patients without some barrier between them and me. Sometimes multiple layers doesn’t always seem enough.🤮

At the time as an icu nurse with an icu consultant partner it was the least of my worries. Seeing what was happening in Italy truly scared me. Thankfully NZ escaped the horrors that my overseas colleagues endured.

Brings back memories of our kitchen refurbishment. Pic 1 is what ours looked like on 19/3/20. A couple of days later the covid lockdown was announced. Pic 2 is what we had for lockdown. Neither oven had power, the work surface was off cuts and the sink was a demo one.

The best one I’ve seen is the Manchester to Dublin flight that has been diverted to Paris.
